Now, let’s zoom in on what’s got everyone buzzing like a bee after a double espresso. Our Golden State governor, Gavin Newsom, and the former House Speaker extraordinaire, Nancy Pelosi, are pretty much the head cheerleaders of this train troupe. Picture the pep rally – “G-O, trains go!”

Newsom was all smiles when announcing the windfall, dubbing it a “vote of confidence” for what he calls a “critical turning point” for the project. Meanwhile, Pelosi chimed in saying it’ll “improve the quality of life” faster than a cable car on a downhill San Fran street.
